Humble Beginnings
so having already started a blog to track my progress on a windmill project, a friend convinced me to start my own personal blog. at times i think these things are very self-centered and strange in themselves, but i think they're also a symptom of a greater, somewhat ironic, extrovertedness in our society.... we post things about ourselves that we probably wouldn't reveal to the average person we meet on the street, yet that we find ok to talk about when an anonymity comes into play.
anyway... i'll probably just use this to post pics and links like the average blogbumb... we'll see... first how about a reconnaisance trip report...?

you're right about that you know. When I first started my blog I wrote several long well thought out posts about things going on in my life and succeeded in pissing off pretty much everyone who knew my blog existed, due to the nature of the material I had posted. It was interesting, but I think you're better in the long run only posting stuff you would say to people face to face.
